Matthew Kambourelis, a rising senior at Founders Classical Academy – Lewisville, has always had two passions: playing soccer and engineering and robotics. Fortunately for Matthew, he was selected to participate in the National Youth Leadership Engineering Forum this year. The forum, held on the renowned campus of Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, brings high school students together from across the country, allowing students like Matthew to delve into various engineering fields like robotics, web and sustainable design, and innovative engineering technology.

Additionally, Matthew’s dedication to academics and passion for engineering have earned him a partial scholarship at Envision by WorldStrides, making this experience even more rewarding. Matthew hopes to learn more and gain valuable insights into these cutting-edge fields through hands-on activities, engaging workshops, and interactions with industry professionals.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Matthew is also an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys playing soccer.
