ResponsiveEd is proud to celebrate an outstanding academic achievement across our network. During the 2026 College Board National Recognition Program cycle, 102 students earned a combined 121 College Board National Recognition Awards across 13 campuses, demonstrating the exceptional academic excellence fostered throughout our schools.
Representing Founders Classical Academy, Ignite Community Schools, and iSchool High, these students have distinguished themselves through strong academic performance and dedication to their educational goals. Because students may qualify for more than one recognition category, 102 individual students received a total of 121 awards.
About the College Board National Recognition Program
The College Board National Recognition Program honors high-achieving students based on their performance on College Board assessments, including the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and Advanced Placement (AP) Exams, along with a strong cumulative GPA.
These recognitions provide students with a meaningful credential that can strengthen college and scholarship applications, resumes, recommendation letters, and other academic portfolios.
ResponsiveEd students earned awards in three categories:
- School Recognition Award: 79 awards recognizing students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement within their high school community.
- First-Generation Recognition Award: 36 awards recognizing high-performing students who are on track to become first-generation college students.
- Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award: Six awards recognizing students attending qualifying rural or small-town high schools.
These awards are separate from the National Merit Scholarship Program and are not a standalone Texas College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicator. Award recipients include students entering their junior year (Class of 2028) and senior year (Class of 2027).
