Meet our College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Counselor for North Texas, Mackenzie Wilson! Mackenzie joined the ResponsiveEd family in July of 2021, playing a significant role in providing hope for students across North Texas.

Originally from the San Angelo area, Mackenzie graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Sport Science and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University. Before joining ResponsiveEd, she served in various higher education roles, including as Academic Advisor and QUEST Scholarship Coordinator for Amarillo College and as a marketing team member for Texas Tech Athletics.

As a member of our team of College, Career, and Military Readiness Counselors, Mackenzie works closely with high school seniors and alumni in North Texas to assist and guide them through their post-secondary journeys. Her experience in higher education makes Mackenzie the point person for students looking to attend college, start a career, or join the military.

This position allows Mackenzie to help students through the college application, testing admissions, and financial aid processes. Additionally, Mackenzie works to prepare students for the workforce by holding mock interviews and practice sessions for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.

“I love the people of ResponsiveEd. As a CCMR counselor, I am always meeting new people through my travels,” said Mackenzie. “Everyone here has a heart for students and has made me feel like a valued member of this organization. I truly enjoy working with our students and teachers and assisting them however I can!”

Thank you for all that you do for our students, Mackenzie!
