The cheer program at Founders Classical Academy – Corinth returned from UCA Cheer Camp 2026 with an outstanding list of accomplishments, earning top placements while demonstrating the leadership, character, and school spirit that define the Founders community.
Throughout the week, the Founders Classical Academy – Corinth Varsity and JV cheer squads earned top finishes across multiple divisions, including:
- Two 1st Place finishes (Varsity and JV)
- One 2nd Place finish (Varsity)
- One 3rd Place finish (JV)
- Camp Champions
The team’s success extended far beyond competition. Their commitment to encouraging one another, serving as positive role models, and representing their school with integrity earned them two of camp’s most respected honors.
Founders Classical Academy – Corinth received The Leadership Award, voted on by fellow cheer squads as the team they would most want to join, reflecting the program’s positive culture, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The squad also earned the prestigious Banana Award, presented by UCA staff to recognize exceptional leadership, spirit, enthusiasm, and heart throughout camp.
Adding to an already remarkable week, Liam Dickson, mascot for Founders Classical Academy – Corinth, received the Spirit Leader Mascot Award for his outstanding energy and ability to rally teammates and spectators alike.
Perhaps the most remarkable accomplishment came at the conclusion of camp. Of the 36 graduating seniors in attendance, UCA invited just 12 to return next summer as UCA Staff members. All six of Founders Classical Academy – Corinth’s graduating senior cheerleaders were selected, an extraordinary honor that speaks to the talent, leadership, and character they demonstrated throughout the week.
While the awards are certainly worth celebrating, they tell a bigger story about what makes the Founders community unique. Through hard work, encouragement, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the mat, these student leaders exemplified the values that continue to set Founders Classical Academy apart.
