Meet Senior Special Education Director Dr. Jennifer Farmer has been a member of the ResponsiveEd family since 2009, bringing over 17 years of experience to the role. Originally from Houston, Jennifer earned a Doctorate from Texas Woman’s University and has spent much of her career working and advocating for children.

Before joining ResponsiveEd, Jennifer spent six years working as a healthcare administrator and later as a teacher for Dallas ISD. She has received several recognitions for her work in the field, including the Capital One 100 Women Sitting at the Table and the Elite News Woman of Wisdom award for her community engagement. 

As Senior Special Education Director, Jennifer supports students with disabilities through a variety of administrative and educational responsibilities, ensuring they have the tools and resources for achieving academic success. Her role allows her to oversee professional development efforts and implement programs promoting student growth.
