At Premier High School – Abilene, students can participate in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, including the Certified Medical Assistant program. In this program, students routinely practice tests such as drawing blood, EKGs, and blood sugar sampling. One student looking to get some practice blood sugar testing on one of her classmates discovered a life-saving result.
