Meet our new Director of Section 504 Services, Chelsyea Jackson! Chelsyea is joining the ResponsiveEd family after spending the last 13 years serving as a Special Education Teacher, Educational Diagnostician, Special Education Coordinator, and, most recently, as a Manager of 504/RTI Compliance.
Chelsyea received a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from Texas Southern University and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University. In addition to her work with ResponsiveEd, she is pursuing a doctorate in Educational Law.
As Director of Section 504 Services, Chelsyea ensures that the needs of all students are met and that all education plans comply with state, federal, and local requirements. This position also allows Chelsyea to provide resources and support for campus leaders in creating and implementing educational goals for students.
