At ResponsiveEd, we proudly celebrate not only academic achievement but also the resilience, determination, and heart of our students. One exceptional example is Premier High School – Austin (Wells Branch) student Aiden Otero, recently named the inaugural recipient of the HOPE Award, presented by the Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN).
The HOPE Award, which stands for Helping Others Persevere Every Day, honors young individuals who inspire their families, peers, and communities through extraordinary courage and commitment despite adversity.

His determination has profoundly impacted those around him, leaving a lasting impression on his classmates, teachers, and campus leaders.
In recognition of his efforts, ADRN awarded Aiden the HOPE Award and a $500 check to support him as he continues his journey of resilience and growth.
“Aiden is the kind of student who reminds us why we do what we do,” said Campus Director Veronica Phillips. “His perseverance in the face of adversity is inspiring, and he leads by quiet example. We are so proud of him and grateful to ADRN for recognizing his impact.”
