At ResponsiveEd, we are focused not only on the success of our students but on the achievements and growth of our talented educators leading the way. As we assemble the best collection of talent around to inspire and provide hope for students, we are honored to spotlight those already making a difference in the lives of our students across the district.
This week, we sat down with Kristen Vincent, who teaches 11th and 12th grade at Premier High School – Fort Worth.
Tell Us About Yourself
I was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated with my Bachelor’s from Xavier University and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Human Services, focusing on Behavioral Analysis at Nova Southeastern University. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2022 and teach 11th and 12th grade at Premier High School – Fort Worth.
What inspired you to become an educator?
I was inspired to pursue teaching because I wanted to positively impact students’ lives by guiding and sharing my knowledge with them. Creating engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and creativity in my students is so fulfilling, and seeing them thrive and knowing I played a small part in their success brings me so much joy.
What are some things that your students have taught you?
Throughout my time as a teacher, my students have taught me the importance of empathy and patience. Because of them, I have been able to grow as an educator and help them overcome any challenges they might face in the classroom.
What are you most proud of about your time with Premier High School – Fort Worth?
I am most proud to be a part of an incredible team of educators who make it their mission to help all students find success both in and out of the classroom.
What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?
I enjoy working at ResponsiveEd because of the people. Our administration and leadership work daily to create a positive work environment and offer dedicated support to every faculty and staff member.
