At ResponsiveEd, we are focused not only on the success of our students but on the achievements and growth of our talented educators leading the way. As we assemble the best collection of talent around to inspire and provide hope for students, we are honored to spotlight those already making a difference in the lives of our students across the district.

Tell Us About Yourself

I was born and raised in Panama City, Republic of Panama, and graduated from The University of Panama School of Law. I moved to the United States to pursue teaching and earned my Master’s in Spanish Language Education. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2022 and serve as the ESL and MTSS coordinator and Spanish teacher at iSchool High – Creekside.

What inspired you to become an educator?

My passion for teaching has revolved around wanting to create social change. The best way to improve our society is to work with our children to provide guidance and encourage them to keep learning.

What are some things that your students have taught you?

My students have taught me the value of empathy and the importance of embracing our imperfections and celebrating the little things in life.

What are you most proud of about your time with iSchool High – Creekside?

I am most proud of my role as a founding member of our campus. In my position, I have been fortunate enough to be part of a team that thrives on collaboration, mutual support, and unwavering dedication to creating a safe learning environment for our students.

What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?

I love that ResponsiveEd campuses offer smaller class sizes, which provides kids with a more tailored education. Additionally, I love the opportunities and support that ResponsiveEd provides its teachers and staff. Their support enables educators to create campus-wide goals that will ultimately benefit students in the present and future.
