Tell Us About Yourself

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to Bentonville in 2015. I earned my degree in mathematics from Georgia State University. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2021 and teach seventh-grade pre-algebra and eighth-grade logic/public speaking at Founders Classical Academy – Rogers.

What inspired you to become an educator?

As a student myself, I always enjoyed math. My mother always encouraged me to use my passion to show those who disliked math how fun and useful it can be. Over time, I realized I wanted to become a teacher to help students gain confidence in the classroom and change their perspective on math.ย

What are some things that your students have taught you?

My students have taught me patience is critical to success and how to look at problems and situations from a different perspective.ย

What are you most proud of about your time with Founders Classical Academy – Rogers?

I am proud to have played a role in helping my students overcome the challenges that they face in the classroom. Witnessing their determination and celebrating their achievements is truly inspiring.ย

What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?

My favorite thing about working for ResponsiveEd is having the opportunity to share classical education with our community. Because of the tight-knit campus community, I have the privilege to see each of my students grow and reach their personal and academic goals.
