Meet Editing Supervisor Heather Morris! Heather has been a full-time member of the ResponsiveEd family since 2009 and continues to be a valuable member of our Curriculum Development team. Born and raised in Oregon, her passion for education led her to work in Quality Assurance, followed by three years as an elementary school teacher before joining Eagle Charter Schools, now ResponsiveEd, as a Contract Editor.
As Editing Supervisor, Heather leads our team of editors in all stages of the curriculum publishing process. In addition to overseeing the editing team, her role allows her to collaborate with our writing, art, media, layout, and online supervisors to ensure timely communication of project needs, fast-paced changes, and upcoming deadlines.
“I enjoy the constant momentum of the publishing process and having the opportunity to continue learning from my coworkers,” said Heather. “I am extremely proud of my team and all the work we have accomplished together, and I am excited to see what the next 15 years will bring!”
