iSchool High – University Park graduate Liz Nguyen

Liz Nguyen, a recent iSchool High at University Park graduate, is a shining example of academic excellence and exceptional leadership. From the moment she set foot on campus four years ago, Liz’s commitment to academic success was evident.

Her outstanding grades and participation in various clubs, such as Lone Star College-University Park’s  Health Occupations Students of America (LSCUP-HOSA) and National Honor Society (NHS), quickly propelled Liz to the top of her class, earning her the title of Valedictorian for the Class of 2023.

“As Valedictorian, Liz embodies all of the qualities that iSchool High instills in its students, including diligence, positivity, and resilience,” said Assistant Campus Director Connie Gonzalez. Her motivation to excel and positive attitude brought great energy to our campus each day, and I am confident that she will continue to strive for excellence in all she sets out to accomplish.”

Nguyen and her mother

As a result of her hard work and dedication, Liz has been awarded a full scholarship to one of the most prestigious institutions in the world: Harvard University. This fall, she plans to study molecular and cellular biology and neuroscience and hopes to one day attend medical school to become a pediatrician. Additionally, Liz credits her mother with helping her achieve her goals.

“I would not have been able to achieve this goal without the love and support of my mother,” said Nguyen. “I would not be where I am today without her, and I am truly grateful to have her by my side as I start this new chapter in my life.”

As Liz sets her sights on Harvard, she leaves behind an enduring legacy. Her unwavering commitment, passion, and pursuit of excellence serve as an inspiration to her peers and as a testament to the limitless possibilities that iSchool High provides.
