A unique aspect of Premier High School is our Career and Technical Education (CTE) options. Through these options, students receive job training, have opportunities to participate in paid or unpaid internships, receive industry-recognized certifications, and begin meaningful careers after high school. In honor of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, we talked to our Premier High School – Little Rock, about its CTE offering in the digital marketing field.
In the campus Digital Marketing program, students engage in project-based learning to master the art of content creation in the current digital landscape. Throughout the course, students get the opportunity to design a comprehensive digital marketing campaign around a fictional business with the support of real-life local industry experts.
“This generation of students is tech-savvy and understands how to use many social media platforms,” said the campus CTE Program Director Aaron Duvall. “What this program does is allows them to fine-tune those skills to convert into a profitable career – while having a lot of fun in the process!”
Why Career and Technical Education (CTE)? Students can begin training for a career while earning their diploma at Premier High School. CTE gives students the skills and training to further their education and pursue meaningful careers in high-demand professions.
