Tell Us About Yourself
I’m originally from Southern California and graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in Linguistics. After graduation, I taught English in Japan for two years before returning to the United States in 2018. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2020 and teach ninth-grade Western Civilization, Astronomy, and Composition at Founders Classical Academy – Conroe.
What inspired you to become an educator?
I have always had a passion for learning and knew I wanted to share that with others from an early age. It was a natural and enjoyable progression getting in front of a classroom of students in Japan and then later in the United States.
What are some things that your students have taught you?
My students have taught me always to have a positive attitude and never stop being curious about the world.
What are you most proud of about your time with Founders Classical Academy – Conroe?
I am most proud of the work creating a supportive and fun campus environment for staff and students.
What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?
I enjoy the curriculum I teach and the discussions with my students that stem from it.
