Tell Us About Yourself

I am originally from San Diego, CA, and graduated from the University of California – San Diego with a degree in Political Science. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2023 and teach Biology at Premier High School – Dayton.

What inspired you to become an educator?

My inspiration to become an educator stems from my passion for giving back to the community and helping individuals discover their skills and reach their full potential.

What are some things that your students have taught you?

My students have taught me how to become a better educator by encouraging me to look at problems and situations from a new and different perspective.

What are you most proud of about your time with Premier High School –  Dayton?

I am most proud of my first graduating class. Last year was the first year I taught with ResponsiveEd, and it was incredibly rewarding to play a small part at such an important time in their lives.

What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?

My favorite thing about working for my campus is the opportunity to develop strong relationships with each of my students. It is truly an honor to witness them grow into smart, driven, and kind young adults.
