Meet Director of Instruction & Academic Support, Britnae Collins! Britnae joined the ResposiveEd family in 2018 and has since brought a wealth of experience to the Academics department.
Born and raised in Louisiana, she earned a degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in Science Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Arlington. Britnae has received several recognitions throughout her career, including Dallas ISD District 5 Teacher of the Year two years consecutively and Ignite Leadership Team Employee of the Year.
Before taking on her current role, Britnae spent several years working as an Academic Facilitator, Instructional Coach, and Teacher for Dallas ISD. As Director of Instruction and Academic Support, Britnae works closely with teachers and campus leadership, providing support through coaching and other resources that promote effective learning in the classroom.
“Working for ResponsiveEd has allowed me to work alongside amazing educators,” said Britnae. “There is nothing as encouraging as being surrounded by people who believe that all students can achieve great things when given the tools to succeed.”
