Meet our Director of Facilities, Chris West! Chris joined the ResponsiveEd family in 2022 and has played a critical role in developing facilities operations within our organization. Born and raised in Southern California, Chris graduated from California State University, San Bernardino, and has earned several Engineering and Maintenance certifications throughout his career.
Before joining ResponsiveEd last spring, he held several facilities roles, including for Chicago Public Schools overseeing several buildings on the Chicago North and South sides and as Head of Facility Operations for Coppell ISD.
As Director of Facilities, Chris oversees all building management operations, including maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and custodial for all campuses in Texas. Additionally, his role oversees contracts and agreements that provide services to district buildings. This role allows Chris and his team to collaborate with other departments to improve districtwide operations and ensure all buildings comply with city and state regulations.
“I love working at ResponsiveEd because of the relationships I have been able to build during my time here,” said Chris. “I really enjoy coming to work and experiencing something new every day. I enjoy finding new solutions and working as a team to overcome obstacles and achieve new goals.”
