For student Hollis Robinson, iSchool Virtual Academy (iSVA) has played a critical role in balancing academics with her personal interests. Since enrolling in 2024, Hollis has thrived in iSVA’s flexible, mastery-based program, allowing her to achieve her academic goals and pursue her passion for competitive rock climbing.

Having only played the sport for two years, Hollis has won several awards in her sport, including, most recently, a bronze medal at the USAC North American Cup Series in Salt Lake City. As she continues to train and prepare for the upcoming climbing season, she says iSVA allows her to juggle the things that matter most to her.
Looking ahead, she plans to compete at the collegiate level and aspires to become a veterinarian. She is already gaining hands-on experience by volunteering weekly at a wildlife sanctuary and working at a pet boarding facility.
“iSVA has offered me the opportunity to have enough time for each extracurricular activity,” Hollis shares. “I’m so grateful for this school because of the flexible schedule it provides.”
