Founders Classical Academy – East Lewisville is celebrating a major achievement from one of its own. Third-grader Micah Indiazi, a talented soccer player, has been selected by the International Champions Academy to participate in one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world.

At only nine years old, Micah has spent the last three years training at Elite Futsal Academy, where he’s developed his game through an intense, highly technical program centered on futsal, played in tight spaces with a heavy emphasis on control, creativity, and quick decision-making.
Later this month, Micah will travel to Spain to compete in Mundialito, an international youth futsal tournament that attracts the best players from around the globe. Representing Elite Futsal Academy and the Lewisville community, he’ll go up against teams from futsal powerhouses like Spain and Portugal.
His journey to get to this point hasn’t been easy. To earn his place, Micah was tested not only on his technical skills but also on his discipline, character, and commitment to growth—qualities he has exemplified at the Lewisville school.
“Micah is an outstanding student and a joy to have on our campus,” said Nicole Swagerty, Headmaster at Founders Classical Academy – East Lewisville. “His dedication to academics and athletics sets a great example for our students. We are so proud to support student-athletes like Micah and see him represent our school and community internationally.”
Coach Kyle Parks, a former Lewisville School of Science and Technology student and a lead coach at Elite Futsal Academy, has worked closely with Micah as he prepares to compete. “Micah’s development has been remarkable. He’s not only one of the most technically gifted players we’ve had at the academy, but he’s also humble, focused, and always eager to learn,” said Parks.“Competing at this level will be an amazing experience for him, and I have no doubt he’ll rise to the occasion.”
