Last month, two robotics teams from Founders Classical Academy – Rogers, led by math and science teachers Sonal Gupta and Emily Vickers, showcased their talent and hard work at the First Lego League Arkansas Championship at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. Competing against 30 other top teams across the state, these young innovators from grades fifth through eighth demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and creativity.
The First Lego League is a global program that introduces young students to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on learning and robotics competitions and encourages participants to engage in real-world problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.
Throughout the event, both teams impressed the judges with their innovative project presentations, intricate robot designs, and outstanding team spirit. Their months of preparation, problem-solving, and collaboration were on full display as they navigated the challenges of the competition with determination and enthusiasm.
“This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of the students, the guidance of their coaches, and the unwavering support of their families and peers,” said Headmaster Rick Koretoff. “Their countless hours of hard work and commitment to excellence have made the FCA Rogers community immensely proud.”
ResponsiveEd joins Founders Classical Academy – Rogers in expressing our immense pride and celebration for these talented students. Congratulations!
