Students from Houston-area iSchool High campuses came together on May 1 to celebrate their futures during College Decision Day. Seniors from iSchool High – Creekside, Atascocita, University Park, and The Woodlands proudly announced their higher education plans.
The celebration brought together students, families, teachers, and staff to recognize the hard work and determination that helped seniors reach this important milestone. Dressed in college shirts and representing their future schools with pride, students shared their plans while celebrating alongside classmates and campus communities.
Students committed to a variety of colleges and universities across Texas and beyond, including the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Colorado School of Mines, Rice University, and the University of Chicago. Together, 229 seniors across four campuses earned more than seven million dollars in scholarship offers, reflecting their academic achievements and dedication throughout high school. The event showcased the diverse goals and ambitions of the Class of 2026 while celebrating the accomplishments that helped students reach this exciting next chapter.
“College Decision Day is one of the most rewarding events of the year because it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the hard work, resilience, and determination of our students,” said Regional Director Luis Pratts. “Watching our seniors proudly share their future plans is a reminder of the incredible potential they each have to succeed and make an impact in their communities.”
The event highlighted the opportunities available through iSchool High’s early college model, which allows students to earn college credit while completing high school. Many students graduate from iSchool High campuses already well on their way toward earning a college degree or with one in hand.
Faculty and staff cheered students on throughout the event, recognizing not only academic success, but also the perseverance and growth students demonstrated during their high school journeys. Underclassmen also had the opportunity to witness the celebration, offering inspiration as they began thinking about their own futures.
Congratulations to the iSchool High Class of 2026!
