This spring marks an extraordinary milestone for several students across iSchool High campuses. Not only are they celebrating the traditional achievement of earning their high school diplomas, but they have also walked away with associate degrees, a dual accomplishment reflecting years of hard work, discipline, and academic excellence. This year, iSchool High campuses had a combined 85 students—more than half of this year’s combined graduating class of 161 students—reach this impressive milestone.
At iSchool High, students benefit from a mastery-based education with personalized instruction and dedicated teacher support. As part of the early college high school program, students can begin taking college-level courses as early as ninth grade, putting them on track to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree by graduation.
Located on Lone Star College campuses throughout the Houston metropolitan area, iSchool High gives students direct access to college resources and a collegiate learning environment. This immersive experience prepares them academically while helping them build confidence, independence, and time management skills crucial for success in higher education and beyond.
“Our students exemplify the success of the early college high school model,” said iSchool High at University Park Campus Director Bradley Sharp. “They are proof that with dedication and support, students can achieve extraordinary academic milestones and get a head start on their future.”
For many, this accomplishment opens doors to even better opportunities. With two years of college completed, these graduates are well-positioned to transfer into four-year universities as juniors, saving time and tuition costs. Others may enter the workforce or pursue specialized programs with a strong academic foundation already in hand.
“This is a special group of students,” said iSchool High – The Woodlands Campus Director Michelon Thompson. “The iSchool High and Lone Star College communities have played a pivotal role in guiding these students to this point, offering mentorship and resources, and we could not be more proud of all they have accomplished and will continue to accomplish in the future.”
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
