Tell Us About Yourself
I am originally from Louisiana and hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Elementary Education. During my career, I have also participated in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) programs. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2019 and teach reading, language arts, and social studies at Ignite Community School – Fallbrook.
What inspired you to become an educator?
I became an educator because of my passion for giving back and making learning accessible to everyone. I enjoy finding ways to make learning fun and empowering my students to learn how to problem-solve and think critically.
What are some things that your students have taught you?
My students have taught me that every individual has a unique way of learning, and meeting their diverse needs challenges me to think creatively and approach teaching from new perspectives.
What are you most proud of about your time with Ignite Community School – Fallbrook?
I take pride in creating meaningful opportunities for students, fostering their growth, and seeing the lasting impact of education on their lives.
What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?
I enjoy working for ResponsiveEd because of its supportive environment for all and its mission to support and guide students on their academic journeys.
