Tell Us About Yourself
I was born and raised in the Northeast and moved to Arkansas in 2006. I received my degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. I joined ResponsiveEd in 2021 and teach third grade at Founders Classical Academy – Bentonville.
What inspired you to become an educator?
Growing up, I had several teachers who instilled a lifelong love of learning in me. Because of their example, I wanted to share my love of learning with others.
What are some things that your students have taught you?
My students have taught me the importance of kindness, patience, and perseverance through difficult tasks. It is so fulfilling to see students gain confidence in the classroom and realize how fun and rewarding learning can be.
What are you most proud of about your time with Founders Classical Academy – Bentonville?
I am very proud of my students and all they have accomplished in the classroom. Not only is it amazing to watch them grow academically, but it has been amazing to watch them turn into confident and kind individuals.
What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?
My favorite thing about my campus is the people I work with. It is truly an honor to play a part in creating a safe and positive learning environment and work alongside people who make it their mission to help all students succeed.
