Meet Accounting Assistant Rita Norwood! Rita has been a member of the ResponsiveEd family since 2001 and continues to play an integral role in the growth and development of the district. Born and raised in rural Kansas, Rita spent her early years working on and maintaining her family’s farm. After graduating high school, she moved to Houston, Texas, where she attended a local Bible College.
As a member of our finance department, Rita oversees payment processing for the various construction projects across the district. Additionally, she is responsible for accounts payable data entry and works closely with our campuses on property and control insurance matters.
Throughout her time at ResponsiveEd, Rita has witnessed the exponential growth of our organization firsthand. “I have absolutely loved seeing this organization develop from just ten campuses in 2001 to the over 90 that we have now,” said Rita. “I am grateful that I have been able to play a small role in that growth and look forward to continuing to impact the lives of students as well as working alongside the incredible people across our district!”
