We are excited to welcome back iSchool Virtual Academy (iSVA) Communication & Relationships Manager, Genavieve Meyer, as a special guest contributor for this story. Genavieve plays an instrumental role in highlighting the connections and overwhelming success of the iSVA community. Here, she helps us share the story of recent graduate Viviana Zorola.

iSchool Virtual Academy Alum Viviana Zorola
For iSVA alumna Viviana Zorola, high school was a journey of growth, resilience, and discovering her passions.
Viviana joined iSVA in seventh grade, seeking flexibility during the COVID-19 pandemic. She quickly realized that the virtual environment afforded her the balance she had been searching for—the opportunity to focus on academics while also managing personal responsibilities at home.
“Before enrolling at iSVA, I was a C student,” Viviana shared. “The online environment and mastery-based curriculum helped me find a learning style that not only worked for me, but helped me succeed.”
That flexibility also gave her space to explore her entrepreneurial side. Viviana launched a jewelry business, spent three years developing her skills as an artist and entrepreneur, and participated in iSVA’s Film Research and Photography Clubs. She also founded Gemstones 4 Kids, an initiative designed to inspire young learners with the science behind gemstones.
Viviana credits her teachers and success coaches for playing a key role in her success. “My teachers at iSVA were a constant source of encouragement,” she said. “Because of their support, I hope to be that kind of role model for others someday.”
Since graduating in June, Viviana has already completed half of the requirements for her associate’s degree in business and plans to pursue a cybersecurity certification.
At iSVA, we are proud to support and celebrate the achievements of students like Faith. Her story is a powerful reminder of what’s possible with focus, flexibility, and a strong sense of purpose.
