This past weekend, the Founders Classical Academy – Bentonville Spartan Robotics Competitive Team represented their campus with excellence and enthusiasm at the Bentonville Seventh-day Adventist School Scrimmage, facing off against 24 other teams from across the region.

Throughout the event, our students demonstrated impressive skill, creativity, and collaboration across three exciting areas of competition:

  • Robot Game Matches: Students brought their robots to life on the game field, completing a series of real-time missions to earn points for each successful task. The energy and excitement were unmatched as teams strategized and adapted in the moment.
  • Project Presentation: In this portion of the competition, students identified a real-world problem, analyzed existing solutions, and proposed innovative solutions. Their research and creativity captured the judges’ attention and highlighted the team’s strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Robot Design Judging: Teams presented the process behind their robot designs, detailing how they built, programmed, and refined their creations. Judges were impressed by their thoughtful engineering and coding techniques.

We are thrilled to share that one of our teams earned 3rd Place in the Innovation Research Project! This recognition is a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and innovative thinking.

“Our robotics students truly embody what it means to be lifelong learners,” said Headmaster Katherine Pan. “Their enthusiasm for discovery and their ability to collaborate creatively make us incredibly proud.”

“Watching these students bring their ideas to life has been inspiring,” added campus Robotics Team Teacher Mrs. Ravikumar. “From early brainstorming sessions to competition day, they’ve shown determination, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning through technology.”

Way to go, Spartans! Your hard work and teamwork continue to inspire our entire school community.
