Tell Us About Yourself
I am originally from Huffman, Texas, and earned my degree in English literature studies from the University of Houston Downtown. For the last decade, I have served as a youth pastor. Currently, I teach ninth-grade English at Premier High School – Dayton.
What are some things that your students have taught you?
My students have taught me the true meaning of perseverance. Their hard work, determination, and commitment to learning continually inspire me to grow and strive to become a better educator.
What are you most proud of about your time with Premier High School – Dayton?
I’m most proud of the strong sense of community among the staff. It truly feels like we are a team working together to support our students and help them succeed.
What do you like most about being an educator for your campus?
My favorite thing about my campus is the smaller class sizes. I enjoy having the opportunity to get to know each of my students on a deeper level and the ability to tailor my teaching methods to suit their needs.
