Genavieve plays an instrumental role in highlighting the connections and overwhelming success of the iSVA community. Here, she helps us share the story of high school student Trevor Sharpe.

A unique aspect of iSVA is its team of experienced success coaches dedicated to supporting students and their families. One such student is Trevor Sharpe, a dedicated ninth-grade student and elite goaltender with the Dallas Stars Elite team.
To balance his hockey and school schedule, Trevor meets weekly with his success coach, Ms. Tilton, to ensure he can access all the resources needed to thrive in the virtual classroom. These experiences provide academic support and foster a sense of connection, making the virtual school experience feel personal and engaging.
Recently, Ms. Tilton learned that Trevor was playing a hockey game in her area, so she decided to attend and support Trevor alongside his family and friends. The opportunity to cheer him on in person was a special moment—highlighting the strong relationships built within the iSVA community.
“It’s a great feeling to see our students succeed in school, but to see their passions play out in their lives really brings it all full circle,” Ms. Tilton shared. “I’m so glad to be a part of iSVA, knowing that students like Trevor can receive a great education in a non-traditional environment and still pursue their dreams!”
