ResponsiveEd, one of the largest public charter school systems in the nation, is pleased to announce its recent hire of Mary Flores, who joins the ResponsiveEd team as the vice president of human resources. Within this position, she will be responsible for HR leadership and oversight, professional development, benefits, risk management and recruiting.
Flores joins ResponsiveEd bringing more than 25 years of experience in human resources, most recently working at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star as the human resources vice president and chief people officer. She also worked as the chief operating officer at Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.

Flores earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and is an active member of SHRM and Dallas HR. She has been awarded a lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and is also a Senior Certified Professional of Society for Human Resource Management.
